This vintage Delill tapestry handbag, likely from the 1930s, depicts on both sides a romantic scene with a woman holding a parasol and a man on a balcony with swans in the foreground. Purse is made of woven tapestry fabric, and put together with sink thread. Interior features a cream silk fabric that is in great clean condition with the exception of a few tiny dots of makeup or marker (refer to last image. Bag has a brass colored stamped metal frame, chain strap and beautifully detailed flower shaped clasp. The chain has some discoloration to the brass color.
